Today officially marks the beginning of my lifelong dream.
After months of waiting, the day of my orientation for the International Culinary Center is here. I can hardly believe that this is finally happening. It's something that I've wanted and waited for my entire life, and as of today, my journey has officially begun!
Nine months from now, I will be receiving my degree in Professional Pastry Arts, and I can't wait to see what school has in store for me.
Classes officially begin on Monday evening, which is just a few short days away. I'm looking forward to chronicling my journey on this blog, and can't wait to see how I grow both as a person, and as a baker.
Today, I met my classmates, received my uniform, and was given a bit of a run down on how the program works. It's going to be a lot of hard work and a lot of late nights, but I know that in the end, it'll all be worth it!
